M1 road (Australia)

The M1 is designated stretches of Australia's National Highway 1 (A1) that are: Dual-carriageway, Freeway or Motorway.

Such stretches of highway include:

Queensland

Bruce Highway from Cooroy to Bald Hills.
Gateway Motorway from Bald Hills to Eight Mile Plains.
Pacific Motorway from Eight Mile Plains to the New South Wales Border, linking 'directly' with the Tweed Heads bypass.^[1]

Princes Freeway from Traralgon to Berwick.
Monash Freeway from Berwick to Central Melbourne.
CityLink (southern link section): Central Melbourne (through Domain and Burnley Tunnels).
West Gate Freeway from Melbourne to West Gate Interchange.

Princes Freeway from West Gate Interchange to Corio.
Geelong Ring Road from Corio to Waurn Ponds.
